It's Not Wrong Pursuing What You Love Doing To Earn A Living

The journey to following your heart's desire to do what you love to earn a living is seldom the easiest.

Yet, there are countless people who have walked down that path and were, (many still are), and others are just starting on that path.

The idea of not going the traditional route of getting an 9am - 17pm job might paralyze a good number of people. The reasons are obvious. And plenty.

Yet, why should fear hold anyone back from doing the things they love especially if they are good at it or at least have a strong desire to do and are settled in their minds and hearts that no matter what may come: delays and side-tracks, disappointments, hardships or set-backs, they would not quit on their love of what they do.

Perhaps deciding what one loves to do is the most challenging thing to do. Deciding that that one thing is worth all the risks that one can take, takes a lot of preparation. Sure, for others, it may come with little research and soul-searching. However, even for such ones, just because one loves doing a certain activity passionately, does not necessary translate into that thing being a successful business venture.

Many factors go into making that one thing become the thing that shifts you from the tracks that are traditionally referred to as having a proper job. The most common reasons people want to pursue an entrepreneurial course is that of wanting to set their own working hours, or have the freedom, or should we say flexibility to decide how much time they can spend with their families, or maybe to pursue a certain calling, etc, of which opportunity being in a full-time employment arrangement might not offer them.

Others just simply cannot, because of their personalities, deal with the politics and stresses that come with full-time employment life. People are different. Well, the typical traditional employment system doesn't care about that. So you have to.

So people decide to break away from the norm. If you are one of those people and feel like its time, then it is time. If it weren't, you wouldn't have read this far. And you probably wouldn't have come across or be interested in this article. That is the way it goes.

Many people are doing it and you can, too. When you search for something, the answers and solutions will come to you. You may need some guidance and you will pick it up along the way from different sources. Each one draws what they know they can truly excel with. Nobody knows you better than you.

Some things and resources that you need to get on this path will stay with you longer than others, and others will only be required for a certain moment to take you to the next level. Most of the times you won't a need step by step guidance from somebody else, if you truly are set on going on this journey.

There will be some sacrifices made along the way. Heartaches and sometimes overwhelming feelings to give up altogether and go back to a life you really don't want but feel drawn back to because it seems more "stable" or easier. But there's not need to fear.

All that you need will be available to you. Keep looking ahead. But be balanced by using even available opportunities from the same lifestyle you want to leave, knowing that they are just stepping-stones.

KEEP TRYING. KEEP LEARNING. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES. KEEP LOOKING. TRY TO STICK TO ONE THING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. IT USUALLY OPENS UP OTHER AVENUES THAT FIT YOUR PERSONALITY. LEARN FROM OTHERS. YOUR MIND-SET WILL EVENTUALLY CHANGE.
